Montreal Cellulose Insulation
Igloo Cellulose Insulation acts as an effective protective shield to reduce the transmission of heat or sound. Made from 85% recycled newspaper and biodegradable protective additives cellulose consists of loose small gray wood fiber texture smooth to the touch. Usually blown or spray applied, blown cellulose insulation easily fits in difficult to reach tiny spaces in attics, floors and walls to seal tight. It acts like a non-conductor of heat and sound waves. Efficient and very environmental-friendly, Cellulose will reduce energy consumption and generally improve interior comfort for a wide range of climatic conditions in residential and commercial applications.
Montreal Polyurethane Insulation
Sprayed Foam Polyurethane Insulation molds itself to all of the surfaces. The Polyurethane itself is a closed-cell foam insulation that contains a gas with a high thermal resistance giving an R-value between R-7 to R-8 per inch.
Foams are sprayed onto open walls inside or outside the home. The polyurethane rapidly expands to seal the wall and act both as a vapour barrier and an insulation agent reducing construction time and eliminating areas where air can penetrate into the house.
Polyurethane foam is a proven performer for basements, crawl spaces and garages.
